BobWithamLoRes

Bob Witham is widely recognized as the creative force at Two Rivers Winery & Chateau. The winery processed its first grapes in the fall of 1999. Under Bob’s expert leadership the winery has won numerous awards from near and far, including prestigious gold medals from the Pacific Rim International, Grand Harvest Awards, and Southwest International among others. The chateau chefs are well-known for their exquisite entrees and wine-pairing expertise to please even the most discerning patrons. At Two Rivers, Bob has successfully recreated the ambience and decor of a French country chateau in the midst of some of the most spectacular views Colorado has to offer, including the Colorado National Monument to the west, the Book Cliffs to the north and the Grand Mesa to the east. For our Nov. 1 auction, Bob is offering a weekend at this beautiful place, including two nights in the chateau, a tour of the vineyard and samples of their award-winning wines. Très bien!

MikeF-LoResMike Fischer runs one of our area’s premier businesses, Tandem Estate Sales. He has become an expert in spotting the truly extraordinary item that may sometimes appear on the market, and Teller Habitat is privileged to receive one of these special finds for our auction block. It is a signed etching by nationally acclaimed artist Scott Fraser. The piece is called “Loner” (number 10/25) and beautifully captures an icon of the Colorado high-country, the male bighorn sheep. Known for his “quirky, witty, innovative and surreal” art, Fraser’s work is on display in prestigious institutions across the country, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. His art is increasingly hard to acquire – it’s been 40 years since something like has been on the market – and only you can decide what it’s worth, but we note that at present, his oil paintings sell for an average of $7,000 with some works fetching as much as $20,000. Bid on this auction item to own a rare gem indeed.

MikeP-LoResMike Perini is the quintessential PR professional and he also knows how to have fun in his free time. In Woodland Park he runs a successful marketing firm, Perini & Associates, providing world class counsel to many satisfied clients, helping them survive tough economic times as well as the evolution of digital marketing media. We salute his success and also applaud his ability to find balance in life with his many other pursuits, which include skiing, playing golf, spending time with his seven grandchildren, and, most relevant to our benefit auction, spending time on his award-winning sailboat, the “Mountain Cat”. If you’ve ever wanted to spend go sailing, this is your chance. Mike is offering to the highest bidder a romantic sunset sail on his 31-foot Catalina 310, complete with a gourmet dinner and top-notch wines while at anchor in a romantic secluded cove on Lake Pueblo. It’s the perfect evening for two!

Charlie-LoResCharlie Chambers has become one of the most sought-after photographers in the Pikes Peak region, and not just for his superb still images but also for the increasingly popular low-altitude aerial videography services he provides that very few others can. In fact, CR Chambers Studios is one of only two in the Colorado Front Range providing this cutting-edge technology, including most recently for the USA Pro Challenge Stage 5 start in Woodland Park. Want a test flight? Now’s your chance. Charlie is one of the “Studs” participating in our benefit auction, and will offer to the highest bidder a customized low-altitude aerial videography package, complete with a pre-flight consultation, 20 minutes of air time, and video clips from one-and-a-half to five minutes in full HD 1080p quality. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to start a new business advertising campaign or to document their home, ranch or property investment.
